The Libertarian way is a logically consistent approach to politics based on the moral principle of self-ownership. Each individual has the right to control his or her own body, action, speech, and property. Government’s proper role is to help individuals defend themselves from force and fraud.

As the official Libertarian presence in Southern Illinois, we are dedicated to doing everything we can for our community.  Whether it be through petitions, protests, food drives, candidate campaigns, or volunteer work, we will make this community better.  We are here to spread the message of liberty and prove that individual liberty can exist in modern society.  We repel the thought that anybody’s rights are negotiable.  We promise to resist any legislation that takes what belongs to you and gives it to another.  Your rights are yours and yours alone.  We’re here to help you protect them.
